Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 25, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Prepaid Funeral Planning website and the purchase of our prepaid funeral plans. Please read them carefully together with your individual plan documents.

01

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or purchasing a prepaid funeral plan from Prepaid Funeral Planning, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

02

Prepaid Funeral Plans

A prepaid funeral plan is a contract between you and Prepaid Funeral Planning for the provision of the funeral services specified in your plan documents. The services included, the nominated funeral director, and the total price are set out in your individual plan agreement.

The price of the services specified in your plan is fixed at the time of purchase. Services or items not specified in your plan are not covered and may incur additional costs at the time of need.

03

Payments

You may pay for your plan in full or by instalments as agreed in your plan documents. All payments are held in an independently managed funeral fund until the services are delivered.

If you pay by instalments and pass away before the plan is fully paid, the outstanding balance must be settled before the services are delivered, unless your plan documents state otherwise.

Missed instalments may result in the suspension or cancellation of your plan as set out in your plan documents. We will always contact you before taking any such action.

04

Changes to Your Plan

You may update your recorded wishes at any time at no cost. Changes that alter the services included in your plan may affect the price, and any difference will be agreed with you before the changes take effect.

If you relocate, we will use reasonable endeavours to transfer your plan to a funeral director in your new area. Where an identical service is not available, we will offer the closest equivalent or discuss alternatives with you.

05

Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your plan in accordance with our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Cooling-off periods, cancellation fees, and refund procedures are described in the Refund Policy and your plan documents.

06

Our Responsibilities

We will administer your plan with reasonable care and skill, keep your wishes on record, hold your payments securely in the independent fund, and arrange delivery of the agreed services through the nominated funeral director when the time comes.

Changes to These Terms
